On 5 April the Federal government and the banking community founded the Financial Services Cyber Security Centre. This is an important step on the road towards reinforcing resilience and stability of the Swiss financial centre by strengthening cooperation and exchange as well as reinforcing protection of the infrastructure against attacks. As the Federal Councillor U. Maurer underlined, assurance of high level information security is the USP of the Swiss financial centre in the future.
The foreign banks are pleased to be fully integrated and can actively participate in the work.
