54th AFBS Ordinary General Assembly

Zurich, 9 June 2026 – At the proposal of the AFBS Board, the 54th Ordinary General Assembly elected four new members to the AFBS Board and renewed the term of two existing members. The Board’s composition reflects the diversity of foreign banks in Switzerland in terms of business activities and regions of origin, further strengthening AFBS’s role as the voice of foreign banks in Switzerland.

The 54th Ordinary General Assembly of the Association of Foreign Banks in Switzerland elected four new Members to the Board:

• Fouad Hamiyeh, Country CEO, FAB Private Bank (Suisse) SA
• Clemens Kaiser, CEO, Deutsche Bank (Suisse) SA
• Elie Sassoon, CEO, Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd.
• Daniel Torreilles, CEO, J.P. Morgan (Suisse) SA

The Assembly furthermore confirmed the mandate of the following Board Members:

• Mauro De Stefani, Treasurer, Chief Executive Officer, Banca Popolare di Sondrio (Suisse) SA
• Laurent Gagnebin, Member, Chief Executive Officer, Rothschild & Co Bank AG
